The third generation Thunderbird doesn’t have the vivacity of the first T-birds (a worker supposedly used a bar of soap to scrawl “Bye Bye, Baby” on the windshield of the last one as it went down the assembly line), but the “bullet birds” have a distinct rocket-age style – not to mention they far outsold the original two-seaters. This particular model sports a very ’60’s two-tone blue interior under a baby blue exterior, and looks pretty clean for the price. The full-length console that is integrated into the dash is a pretty modern touch; something similar exists in most new cars. You’ll never win any kind of race with it, but it’d be a fun cruiser.
